Founded in 2001 as an initiative of the Columba Community

led by Fr Neal Carlin, White Oaks has developed as a centre of excellence in the treatment of addiction.

In collaboration with the Health Service Executive and other agencies, White Oaks has responded to those who have sought help due to addiction – alcohol, drugs and gambling. In 2010 White Oaks became accredited by CHKS as a recognised provider of high quality care in the field of addiction. In 2021 a new residential secondary care facility came on stream when Carlin House was opened in Letterkenny
